My MBP(MacBook Pro) running so hot when i’m using window xp in boot camp - actually i’m playing some heavy graphic game
.Why it so hot ?…I heard one of the reasons that why Windows runs hotter than OSX is because it defaults the fan at 1000RMP instead of 2000RPM w/o proper driver support.
Default fan for OXS is around 2000RPM. So what i’m suggesting here based on my experiece..i’m install smcFanControl. I’m setting fancontrol to HigherRPM when using Window xp. You cannot setting it inside window xp. So must set inside OSX then restart and load window xp again. The setting will remain.
FanControl lets the user adjust the minimum speed of the built in fans. So you can increase the minimum speed to make your Intel Mac run cooler, as well as monitor temperature and fan speed.
Here some screenshot from my OSX :

As usual…i surf so many website per day..like to see others people website/blog. So i found out a community/group for Mac User in Malaysia. They are so active. Almost every 2/3 month they have an event. For more info, please visit http://www.mymug.org/index.html. And their forum : http://www.mymug.org/forum2/
Whether you’re a Mac veteran, a new user, or just someone who’s curious about the Mac, this is the place to be for all things Apple in Malaysia!
About myMUG
Even though Malaysians have been using Macs for years, it was only recently that a small group of Mac users decided to officially form a Malaysia Mac User Group (myMUG). The first step was the setting up of the myMUG Forum in 2003 which has steadily been growing in terms of members and posts.
In Dec 2004, the myMUG website went on-line. The purpose of the website is to provide a virtual ‘home’ for all Mac users in Malaysia - amongst other things, a means of communicating with each other, to find out about Apple events, and to learn about new hardware and software.
