Best place to put Google Adsense in single post
July 23, 2008 – 1:16 amThis is for single post page. Try to put it just below of your post title. Why? Because when reader go to your single post and they realize that content on your post not what they search, google ads will suggest some related topic that similar or related to what they search. See image below, I make a post about some ruby on rails topic and google ads suggest all the related topic to ruby subject.
And also try to put google search at the top of your title. This will give opportunity to search without go to google search website.
Give a try…try put your ads at the place that your reader easy to spot it.
This is my opinion only…

Update : based on Anton comment, google not recommend put ads below your title. So i change my ads on top of my title. So don’t follow like image above..that’s wrong..

hi anton..that part i don’t know how to do coz i just play around my adsense within my blog only. But what i know..whatever adsense you use, the important thing is your pub-key..every single user has their own pub-key.
Anyways thanks for the link..maybe i should move my ads above my title…

Hi, I’ve implemented your suggestion for my blog, thanks! In addition, I used the WordPress is_single() conditional tag so that it doesn’t show the Advertlets ad on the sidebar if it’s a single post. See http://codex.wordpress.org/Conditional_Tags
