Blackberry Appworld on ANY Country
October 5, 2009 – 2:56 pmMy Device : Blackberry Bold 9000
Country : Malaysia
Actually Blackberry Appworld only available in some country. Malaysia is not one of them. I found a solution from crackberry forum how to use the application and i manage to install and use it.
1. Download the following .Zip File RapidShare: 1-CLICK Web hosting – Easy Filehosting
2. Unzip it to your desktop
3. Copy the files net_rim_bb_appworld.cod, net_rim_bb_appworld_resource_en.cod and JavaLoader.exe to the following folder depending on your Windows OS:
3.1 In Windows Vista “C:\Users\(Your User)
3.2 In Windows XP “C:\DocumentsandSettings\(Your User)
4. Start CMD (Windows Key + R and then type CMD)
5. Plug-in your BlackBerry
6. Type: javaloader -u load net_rim_bb_appworld_resource_en.cod
once done type next one:
7- Type: javaloader -u load net_rim_bb_appworld.codAfterwards your device will reboot and you will have it installed on your device
Tested on Javelin and Bold so far… Not sure if it will work on other devices!STORM Users:
1. Download the following .Zip file: RapidShare: 1-CLICK Web hosting – Easy Filehosting

6. Select Browse and look at your desktop for the file “appworld.alx” and select it.

Hi Azlan,
Tried a couple of your solutions above on my Blackberry 9700 OS 5, it seems like steps for javaloader and your other solution http://bit.ly/AppWorld for OS 5 doesn’t seem to work. Any help you can provide here?
Thanks.

The Rapidshare links don’t seem to work. I tried some other solutions but any of them worked.
When I tried to download from http://bit.ly/AppWorld, it couldn’t download it entirely, saying it failed.
By the “classical” way, it said Appworld wasn’t supported by my Blackberry…
btw, I have a Storm 2…

I am using a Bold 9700 from Maxis. I tried all the crack methods but did not work. Well for those whose having the same problem, get a Digi (or maybe Celcom) BB user’s sim card, slide it into your phone and download the app world. Once down swap the sims back and there you have it. Good luck!
