Create a Facebook Badge For Your Website

August 28, 2008 – 9:12 pm

Actually many people already blog this topic about create a Facebook Badge but many of them just give an instruction only and quite hard to follow. And some of them upload the tutorial into YouTube. But people like me prefer tutorial with a picture..more easy to follow.. :)

First time i know the badge is from one of my colleague blog(ady) and i love it because it show the avatar and the facebook status. My facebook account already integrate with twitter and if i put the badge into my blog, it will display twitter status at my facebook and my blog with one time update only…

Do you know how Facebook Badge looks like? See picture below…

How to get avatar like picture above..click here

And now i will show the screen how to get Facebook Badge code.

1. Login to your facebook

2. Click at the profile. The link at the top of the page.

3. Scroll down until the bottom part and click “create a profile badge”.

4. Now, just choose your layout, format and add items on it.

5. Click Save and just copy the code and paste it on to your website at widget or your sidebar.

6. Done…Give a try :)

  5. I have the same question as Crystal, how do I create a badge for a page, not my profile? The box that I can make is not very useful, too small and no logo or anything.

    Thanks

  8. You must select the option to update status when using the application settings. Try again.
