Eid Mubarak Open House
October 14, 2008 – 12:42 amYeah…Open House (Rumah Terbuka)..don’t confuse with the title..hehheh..this topic not about inviting people to my open house..My turn not ready yet. Wait until I’m ready. 
Did you received invitation to attend any open house. Last week i got around 3 invitation from my uncle and my friend, but manage to attend 2 of them only. This Open House event is traditional event that will happen every year in Syawal month (muslim calender). Most probably a month. So the owner will serve their special menu to guest. Like my uncle open house, their special menu is ‘Laksa Johor‘ and ‘Lontong’..yummy..
Most reason people invite to open house is to gather everybody and have a chit chat with each other. From here we can make new friend, meet old friend and eat free food..hahahah…

In my opinion…
An Open House or rumah terbuka is a traditional event only for a people who live in a city. It’s not a tradition for a villagers.
