February 2, 2009 – 2:19 amWhen i install UBuntu in my virtual box, it’s load in not full screen mode..So i need to install ‘Guest Additions’ to make it Full Screen Mode..
How to set it..
- Select Devices > Install Guest Additions

- If your virtual box not running Autorun…Just open your terminal and go to Media > cdrom0
- cd /media/cdrom0

- You need to run VBoxLinuxAdditions-x86.run in root permission or using sudo
- sudo ./VBoxLinuxAdditions-x86.run

- After finish the installation, you need to restart your system.
- After restart…Start your OS..then select Machine > Fullscreen Mode or Command + F

Thanks for that. I kept looking in the mnt directory for the CDRom, yea I’m a newbie. Of course, I also don’t understand why I had to use “sudo ./VBoxLinuxAdditions-x86.run” instead of just “sudo VBoxLinuxAdditions-x86.run”
Thanks again!
