iSync with SonyEricsson P990i

My Mac OSX 10.5.2 are coming with iSync Version 3.0. But got problem when i try to sync with my Sonyericsson P990i phone. By default iSync cannot recornize my phone.

So, i reseach over internet and found out that sonyericsson come out with new iSync plugins for P990i and for W950i. Here the plugins for P990i and W950i.

BEFORE USE THESE PLUGINS YOU NEED TO PAIR YOUR MOBILE WITH MAC USING BLUETOOTH! YOU DO NOT NEED TO INSTALL ANYTHING TO YOUR PHONE (DO NOT TURN OFF THE BLUETOOTH IN PHONE AFTER PAIRING, BLUETOOTH MUST BE ENABLED FOR SYNCHRONIZATION)!

Do not Enable power saving when using ISync!

My Sonyericsson P990i info :

• Phone: R9G007
• Bluetooth: R5A01
• Organizer: R6D23
• CDA: R9A01

Now i can backup my calander and phone address into my macbook. :)

Open iSync and select Devices > Add Devic.
iSync detect my phone after apply the patch….just double click my phone icon and it will bring you to iSync menu.

Sync in progress…..

- All my calenday will save inside iCal.
- All my contact will save inside Address Book.
