Libya Trip - Leptis Magna

October 22, 2008 – 11:31 pm

Quote from Wikipedia :

Leptis Magna,(Arabic: ?????) also known as Lectis Magna (or Lepcis Magna as it is sometimes spelled), also called Lpqy or Neapolis, was a prominent city of the Roman Empire. Its ruins are located in Al Khums, Libya, 130 km east of Tripoli, on the coast where the Wadi Lebda meets the sea. The site is one of the most spectacular and unspoiled Roman ruins in the Mediterranean.

This is trip with my friend when i’m in previous company. My company send me to install their system at Tripoli Medical Center. Since i’m in Libya, i take this advantage to visit one of famous place in Libya : Leptis Magna. I’m so impress with the architecture. I have to walk around 5 km to make one round of Leptis Magna. But worth it. :)
