So today i manage to download and install Mac OS X 10.5.3 update but i’m not update it using ‘Software Update‘ because my office internet line very slow today..Estimate time to download 420MB is 10 hours. One more thing, your system will force you to charges your mac before start the update. So i stop the ‘Software Update’ process and go to this website, download manually which is 420MB. But i read from some forum, they said got two different size of download the update from ‘Software Update’. One is 190MB and other one is 420MB. So mine one is 420MB.
After finish the download, i click the file to update. then i saw the update will take around 1.30GB of your hard drive space..hehehehe..so big laaa….After finish the installation, your mac will restart automatic.
When your mac start, try check your mac version and rebuild version. See below:
If your version number and build version same with the picture…your mac was updated to current version one…how to see build version..just click on version number and it will change to build number.
So far right now i’ve haven’t face any problem with the new update. The performance same like previos version which is 10.5.2.
