Maxis USB Modem (E220) Setting for Mac intel based

My wife just bought new Maxis broadband and i try to setup connection on my mac. This is tutorial how to setup the connection on mac. Must do it manually.
Get the software here
1. Install the driver. The driver is inside cd that include in the box. Double click on Mobile_Connect_Drv_App.pkg
2. Make sure remove your Mobile Connect device first.
3. After finish the installation, find the software. Software name is MobileConnect.
4. First window will ask your PIN Code. Default is 0123.
5. Here my setting. Profile name can be whatever you want. Password = wap
5. Then choose back your profile name and click connect.
6. My first attemp to connect fail. Then i make a research, and here i found out. You need to setup same setting inside /System Preference/Network.
- Choose network
- Click on HUAWEI Mobile Connect and set the parameter like above. Password = wap
- Click Advance and setup like picture above. Choose vendor Other and choose Model in the first row.
- Now you can connect using system preference or using Mobile Connect.

Connect using MobileConnect. MobileConnect required your admin password to connect.

dalam browser tu aku dah updated dari HUAWEI Tech. takleh nak create profile. dapat tengok bar je. nak connect tak boleh.

So the setting is MAXIS3G or MAXISBB as the APN and standard MAXIS , WAP password??
Aku ader yang si Celcom nyer..boleh adjust the APN settings…
