P1 WIMAX service intterupt

What’s this…they have network problem and not notify their user(via email or whatever method)…… If i not check at their website..then i don’t know what’s the problem. Because my P1 router keep blinking red light(that’s means no service).Try to call their customer service, but the line always busy mode.  Lucky my wife has maxis broadband.So i can check whats the latest new…

Should i change to streamyx back?????….sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh….

Update: At 11.00PM – they send the notification via SMS..

At 10.00AM – Still no service

Playstation 3 with P1 WIMAX

I don’t recommend using P1 WIMAX service to play Playsation game online because P1 WIMAX using NAT3 (Network Address Translation). Trying to using port forwarding and DMZ but i still get NAT3. This is my experience since i’m using PI WIMAX.

It’s doesn’t mean that you cannot play online games but only certain game only can play.

Whats different between NAT?

NAT 3 = Restricted voice communication and other features
NAT 2 = Correct ports fowarded for your PS3 or it’s DMZ’d
NAT 1 = No router, it goes straight through the modem (normally)

Playstation 3 Tips – For Beginner

Since i’m a new user, here some simple tips that people advise you

1. Before shut down your console, please eject your cd from drive.

2. When cases your console was freez or lookups, eject the disk from drive before attempting to restart the system.

3. Try to avoid play pirate DVD movie.

4. Don't place your console in a closed off cabinet with restricted airflow.

5. Don't place your console on the same level with your external tv speaker. It is because sounds generated from the speakers regardless low or high volume will cause some low or high vibration across the AV cabinet or table panel and this might have a negative damage impact on the BD mechanism lens and it parts.

Installing gdesklets on Ubuntu

I’m install gdesklets using this command:

sudo apt-get install -y gdesklets

After the installation, i’m trying to open the app (Application > Accessories > gDesklets), this error come out.

Failed to execute child process "gdesklets" (No such file or directory)

To solve the problem..

1. Go to System > Administration > Synaptic Package Manager.

2. Quick Search, enter “python2.5″ (without quotation marks).

3. Check the package and Apply.

This is because GDesklet is trying to use Python 2.5, but only 2.6 is installed.

In order to start gDesklets automatically everytime you log in into your system we have to add gdesklets to the session-startup-programs.For this you need to go to Systems—>Preferences—> Startup Application, then click add..

Add all the following details and click on ok.
