Problem to install woopra client on mac leapord intel based

June 16, 2008 – 12:04 am

Do you know what is Woopra?.. Woopra is the world’s most comprehensive, information rich, easy to use, real-time Web tracking and analysis application…And it’s free! You can download it as wordpress plugins. How to install it to your wordpress, can refer here.

After you done with activation part…you can continue with download client desktop for yor leapord. Can find here.

But the problem now is….woopra client need latest version of java which is version 1.6.0 but preinstall in our leapord is version 1.5.0 and Java SE 6 (64bit). You cannot install it without latest version. Woopra installation will keep ask you for latest version of Java. This is defaut java setting in our leapord.

How to change java preference?..Press command + space and search for java or click sportlight and search java.

You cannot just change the java version to Java SE 6 because this version just for 64bit..So to make woopra can install to your leapord, don’t change the java version but reorder the Java applet runtime setting. Follow like picture below.

Done and continue with woopra client installation. After install the woopra client, leave the java setting. Don’t change it. If you change it, error window will come out like picture below.

I write this based on my experience installing woopra client to monitor my blog traffic.

Give a try and you can monitor your blog/website in real time..No need to enter you website admin, just monitor from your woopra client.
