Restoring my iPod Nano

Just finish restore my iPod Nano 1GB and i realize that if before this you restore using iTunes on Mac, then you cannot transfer song using iTunes on Window…
but before this you restore using iTunes on Window, iTunes on Mac still can transfer song….i don’t know if this happen only to iPod Nano 1GB or apply to all iPod model….
Step to restore :
1. Open iTunes
2. Connect your iPod
3. In iTunes menu, click restore button
4. Then iTunes will download software update from internet
5. Done…Warning…Restore your iPod will erase all data in your Ipod

Thanks for the tip. It is a last resort move though if it erases data on the iPod.
