Scan and fix bad sector hard disk on Mac
July 18, 2008 – 1:46 amYou can try this solution if got problem with your mac hard disk.
1. Boot you mac in single mode. How to boot is:
- Shutdown your mac
- Press the power button to start the computer.
- Immediately press and hold the Command (Apple) key and press “s” key for single-user mode. (Command-S)

2. In command line, do this:
/>fsck
fsck -- filesystem consistency check and interactive repair
OR other solution is using tools call AppleJack
