Failed to upgrade my plugins

This happen when i use version 2.7...I have no problem for the previous version..when i try to upgrade automatically, it giving me Download failed.: connect() timed out! Plugin upgrade Failed How to fix this...just ftp to your hosting, find folder wp-content/plugins..then change folder permission..set it to 777 or 755..
